Had a wonderful meal at Greenside Restaurant. We can certainly see why they have such good reviews! Food was excellent and plentiful and the service was second to none. The wood burner was roaring and the atmosphere was great. Shame we are only here on holiday for a few days as would definitely go back!

Visited the restaurant while we were down staying in the area. The staff were lovely and friendly, the pizzas were tasty and served quickly. The restaurant was dog friendly which was great as we were on holiday with our dog so we could bring him with us. Definitely recommend but may have to book during busier times as we were lucky to get a table

We dined in as a couple, took the dog in with us and received a lovely reception.
The dog was provided with a bowl of water and everyone came to say hello.
We decided on a pizza each, having looked at the extensive menu for a little while. The pizzas were excellent and arrived very quickly.
Two big pizzas and two drinks came to £38, seemed about right for the good quality of food and nice atmosphere and clean decor.
We would definitely visit again if we’re back in the area.

Excellent food and huge portions, though a bit pricey. The service is great too so if you're in the area and hungry, this is definitely the place to stop by.

Went to The Greenside with a couple of friends and we had a great evening. We sat in one of the booths so that we could chat. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. I had a Caesar salad followed by Eton Mess. Both were delicious. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. There was plenty of parking outside. The only downside is that they only accept cash - so, take plenty!

Only fault with my roast dinner was that it was a gammon steak....not roast pork as stated on menu.

Visited when staff were undergoing a trying time due to unavoidable absences and some food unavailble. Staff did their level best to accomodate me. Although Pizza is not my favourite food ..a great deal of the customers were having a blast with this item. Well designed restaurant, bar and kitchen.

Sometimes on your travels you stumble into little watering holes that leave you feeling happy about the world we live in. From the staff, Rachel and Kayla, to the music and all around ambience Greenside left a lasting impression. Cheers girls, you made a Thursday night in Maybole memorable.

Was here with my husband the other day for some food and drinks and I've got to say this place is a hidden gem ! We were visiting culzean Castle and were recommended to try the greenside for dinner, I had Swiss pan roasted chicken and it was the best meal I've had from a restaurant in a long time...waitress was polite and happy and service was super quick given the restaurant looked packed and we even seen there was a beer garden. We had some cocktails after dinner which were spectacular and came recommended by the bartender who was hilarious and recommended us both a drink we loved. I cannot express how friendly she was however I did not catch her name she had colored hair and tattoos and recommended us more places to visit in the area.
All in all a top notch dining experience and I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area

Came here with partner for some food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, felt very classy and homely in the restaurant. Staff were super friendly, the girl who served us was very knowledgable about the menu and dishes served, we ordered a tequila sunrise and partner had a blackjack, both amazing drinks. For mains he ordered chicken enchiladas and I got the gammon steak gluten free. Food was well presented, I especially liked the sauce which came with my gammon steaks, and was a good portion size for what we ordered. Partners first time trying enchiladas and he loved them! Would come back here!

Popped in last minute and managed to get a table ....place was empty but was quick to fill up fast!!!

I had prawn tempura ....lovely then fish n chips or should I say .....whale n chips it was massive
Partner had goats cheese then cajun crepe .. she said it was fab!
